PLATTE COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Sunday in Platte County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Hyundai driven by Hoi Ka, 46, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 at Interstate 435 South.
The driver swerved to avoid slower traffic. The vehicle struck the cable barrier and overturned.
EMS transported two passengers identified as Ah Cho, 50 and a 9-year-old girl both of Kansas City, Kan. to North Kansas City Hospital. The driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
