PENSACOLA, Fla. -- According to the National Retail Federation, Cyber Monday is considered the biggest online shopping day of the year.
Cyber Monday will be observed in nearly 30 countries around the world.
It’s the online equivalent of Black Friday.
Many online retailers will offer deep discounts and promotions for the e-comers heyday.
Shoppers in Northwest Florida can't wait to log-on, and others are not so excited.
"It’s easier I don’t have to deal with the people the headaches the lines," Colette Morales said. "I type in what I want I search it and I can search multiple stores to find the best deal. That’s usually my thing I don’t want to go to 10 different stores."
"I like to browse to look at something to actually be able to know what I’m purchasing verses just a picture and also a lot of the sites don’t have a lot of description of the items which is a big problem for me because I might be looking for a certain type of something," Jo Bowles said.
The e-commerce tradition started in 2005.
Last year online sales from Cyber Monday grew to a record, 10.7 billion dollars in online spending.
