It's rare to see Stephen Curry get angry on the court, so you know something is wrong when the Golden State Warriors star bursts out on officials.

On Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, Curry got heated and confronted the referee after missing what he felt was a clear hard foul on him. Early in the fourth quarter on a 2-on-1 fastbreak situation, Curry received the ball from Otto Porter Jr. Terance Mann, who was waiting under the basket, met the sharpshooter and the two crashed at each other.

Steph fell hard to the floor and was visibly upset no foul was called. He was animated and shouted at the nearby official who didn't whistle. Of course, the Warriors guard got a technical foul for his actions.

Stephen Curry still had the last laugh, though, as he finished with 33 points, five rebounds and six assists to lead the Warriors to a 105-90 win. There was also one moment after he got the technical foul when he took a job at the referees with his celebration following a 3-pointer.

In his postgame media availability, Stephen Curry talked about his angry reaction and subsequent technical foul, admitting that his emotions got the best of him. Fortunately for the Dubs, Steph used that as motivation to further inspire and fire the team to the huge win.

“I thought I got fouled so I let my emotion go and it definitely fired me up, fired the team up. You have to be able to direct that energy into just putting the ball in the basket, obviously,” Curry explained, per Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.

The Warriors have now won seven straight games, improving to 18-2 on the season for the best record in the NBA. With the way they are playing, the last team opponents want is an angry and motivated Curry.
