Discover the complex backstory behind the holiday film, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” during an online talk from Mentor Public Library at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 14.

Hollywood historian Sal St. George will discuss what other actors were considered when casting the classic and where the film’s story originated, according to a news release. Find out if it truly all started with a Christmas card.
