Season 2 of gripping crime-drama The Equalizer is about to embark on a midseason break and fans are already wondering when Episode 8 will make its debut on screens.

The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8 will premiere on Sunday, January 2 on CBS.

The Equalizer is a reboot of the 1980s action series of the same name, which starred Edward Woodward as Robert McCall. The current reboot stars Queen Latifah as the Equalizer, Robyn McCall. Denzel Washington also played the character Robert McCall in the 2014 film adaptation of the 1980 series.

In the latest adaption, Robyn is a divorced mother and former CIA agent who is more than willing to use her incredible skill set to help others, while often risking her own life in the process.

Season 2 was given the green light back in March 2021 but like many shows and films, faced significant delays as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Season 2 made its debut in October 2021, and thankfully, there is not too much longer to wait for Episode 8 to drop.
