NFL Network host and Michigan superfan Rich Eisen had some fun getting back at some of his friends who are Ohio State fans and alums after Saturday.

Michigan’s upset victory over Ohio State was a joy for all those who rock the Maize and Blue, especially alumnus and Wolverines superfan Rich Eisen. As the Buckeyes have had their way with his alma mater over recent years, though, Eisen has often been the butt of jokes.

Following the 42-27 win and a ticket being punched to the Big Ten Championship, though, Eisen decided to take to Twitter not only to celebrate the victory but take a playful jab at all his pals who wear the Scarlet and Silver after years of absorbing jabs himself.

Among them was JK Simmons, whom he had on the Rich Eisen Show recently and a couple of NFL players and close friends, including safety Malcolm Jenkins and Hall of Famer Cris Carter. Also among those receiving a jab is Eisen’s colleague Albert Breer. It was an epic thread in which he mentioned every Ohio State-related person in his life to let them know.

For years, the Wolverines and head coach Jim Harbaugh have been the subject of jokes, many courtesy of the Buckeyes and their fans. Even during his hosting of the NFL Network on Sunday, several of Eisen’s colleagues, including Steven Mariucci, told him to calm down.

However, Eisen had a message for him and all the Buckeyes fans who came at him.

"“You can’t have it both ways!”"

Eisen has a point. The Buckeyes have been flexing themselves for quite some time, especially former linebacker Bobby Carpenter, who called out Michigan for “taking the easy way out” of last year’s matchup that was canceled due to COVID. Carpenter did tweet out a classy response after Ohio State’s defeat.

It’s been a great weekend for Rich Eisen, not just because the Wolverines got the elusive win over Ohio State, but because he also got the long-awaited chance to shove it in everyone’s face.
