DOWN ON THE FARM — Bonding with your pet is a common occurrence that is one of the joys of owning a pet.
But once in a while, if you're lucky, you get the special, super-ultra bond where you feel like it's a miracle you get to own and love your pet.
This is where we find farmer Omar Murso. He made one of his goats a pet because "Lino's the smartest goat I've ever had. I can't believe how many people are impressed with his intelligence."
There are no details about what behaviors show that Lino is smart except one—the way Lino and Omar "communicate." If you think Lino is so smart that he's actually saying words, that's not quite what happens.
In the video, Omar blathers nonsensically with his tongue, or makes a soft, repeated "tongue click." And then Lino responds in kind.
OK, so it doesn't necessarily show how smart Lino is, but it sure is hilarious. And Lino does seem to be listening and responding with intention, micking the actual sound Omar is making. Plus, according to Omar, the pair have "a connection" and their "own way of communicating," so who are we to argue?
Let's all just collectively admit that we had a special bond with a pet that made us feel like Dr. Doolittle. Then let's watch this video, have a good laugh, and show it to our friends and family so they can laugh too.
