Cheryl Ann Weese

Pratt - Cheryl Ann Weese, 74, died November 27, 2021 at Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, Kansas. She was born February 4, 1947 in Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford Arthur and Lesta Faye (Swafford) Davis. Cheryl graduated from Greensburg High School in 1965. She had lived in Greensburg, Johnson, Kansas, Taloga, Oklahoma, and Pratt, Kansas. Cheryl was a homemaker and had worked for several years in the cafeteria at Taloga Schools and was of Catholic faith. On July 17, 1965 Cheryl married Carl F. Weese, Jr. in Greensburg. He survives. Other survivors include three sons Tom Weese and wife Angela, Asheboro, North Carolina, Todd Weese and wife Rene', Wichita, Kansas, Tyler Weese and wife Ferran, Blackwell, Oklahoma, one daughter Melanee Weese, Mulvane, Kansas, four grandchildren Tanner Weese and wife Hannah, Shawnee, Oklahoma, Alexa Weese, Wichita, Kansas, Braden Weese and Katrina Cochran, Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Bailey Gibbs and husband Bryce, Clearwater, Kansas one Great-granddaughter Octavia Rose Weese, Grand Lake, Oklahoma, a brother, Butch Davis and wife Kay, Catherine, Kansas. Nephews Lyndon Davis, Wade Dirks, Ronald (Tony) Davis, Brad Davis, Josh Davis, John Michael Taaffe, nieces Ronai Reda and Melinda Brull and many friends. She was preceded in death by an infant son Carl F. Weese III "Trey", her parents, two brothers Larry and Ronald Davis and one nephew Larry Davis, Jr.

Funeral service and celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 820 S. Walnut St., Greensburg with Father Ted Skalsky officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Fleener Funeral Home, PO Box 41, Greensburg, KS 67054.
