Report: Actor for Albert Wesker Knowingly Breaks NDA; Leaks Resident Evil 4 Remake Is in Development

Given how Capcom has remaked each major entry in the Resident Evil franchise, it’s just a matter of time until we get the Resident Evil 4 Remake that everyone’s looking forward to, no? As it turns out, it seems the game is indeed under development.

Actor D.C. Douglas, who voiced Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil franchise, has leaked the game’s existence, all the while knowing he was breaking NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with Capcom.

The first shot features concept art given to him by Capcom, shows Wesker as he appears in the Separate Ways of Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The second image shows Douglas forwarding the concept art and mentioning how he can get into hot water for doing so, thus confirming that he knows he shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.

Mind, nothing here has been confirmed by Capcom, so take it with a grain of salt. That said, given how much Capcom loves remaking their games, a Resident Evil 4 Remake announcement is just a matter of when.

Thankfully, the last few Resident Evil remakes were excellent ones, with our review of Resident Evil 3 Remake stil getting a respectable score even if it was super short, and didn’t really offer any major changes like RE2 Remake.

Would you want a Resident Evil 4 Remake or should Capcom just pick up where Resident Evil Village left off ASAP?

Capcom should go 1st with Code Veronica remake then RE0 and 1 remakes with 3rd person view like RE2 and 3 remakes, than they should consider to reboot whole franchise before they remake RE4. But with this “news” it seems like Capcom is all over the place with their ideas where to go next… IMO RE7 and 8 are not true RE games to it’s core, they look like solid FPS horror games with bland and mediocre story AMD characters….

The franchise doesn’t need a reboot it’s fine as it is they’ve already ruined enough franchises with reboot after reboot leave it alone

RE1 Remake and RE2Remake (and even RE3) weren’t bad remakes at all. Like, I would want to see Capcom continue that. I do know RE4 is the one that needs it the least, but if they can update some of its gameplay, visuals are completely redone, that’s not so bad, right?

Resident evil 3 remake was trash it pissed alot of its core audience off because it was too short it should have been dlc not a remake resident evil 1 and resident evil 2 remake were ok decent enough but 3 no I disagree the original re3 on ps1 is far better re3 remake was too short plus alot of the content was cut out like the clock tower now there’s a possibility they might be making a re3 nemesis edition and putting back content that was taken out this decision I don’t agree with if your going to remake a game you remake it with everything the original had u don’t cut parts out after I played re3 remake and re7 I gave up I didn’t like the direction it was going which is sad really because all game developers care about is money now not what the fans want.
