The book by author Christopher Andersen, titled “Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Loves of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan”, claims Prince Charles made the shocking inquiry about his future grandchildren’s skin complexion. The question of who asked about Archie’s skin tone came up after Meghan and Harry revealed to Oprah about their experiences living with The Royal Family.

According to Page Six, a source claimed Charles asked his wife Camila about the child’s skin tone in Nov.2017 after Harry and Meghan announced their engagement. He allegedly said,“I mean, what do you think their children’s complexion might be?” after Camila was reportedly “shocked” by his statement.

Andersen also alleged that a group of advisors called “The Men in Grey” made the question sound much worse than it did and caused a rift between the family. However, a rep for Prince Charles called the excerpt a “piece of fiction” and refused to comment further on it.

“The question posed by Charles was being echoed in a less innocent way throughout the halls of Buckingham Palace,”

Meghan and Harry didn’t comment on the book or released a statement regarding its claims.
