Body found in vacant lot in Washington County identified as 18-year-old man

WASHINGTON, Pa. — A body was found in a vacant lot on Seminole Avenue in Washington, Pennsylvania, Sunday morning, police say.

Late Sunday evening, the coroner’s office identified the victim as 18-year-old Connor Brock from Washington.

Brock’s body was found at approximately 9:15 a.m. by a person living adjacent to the lot. The coroner says that Brock died from an apparent gunshot wound.

The coroner’s office and Washington city police detectives are investigating this incident as a suspected homicide.

Police say they estimate the incident happened sometime between 10:30 p.m. Saturday night and 9:15 a.m. Sunday.

The cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
