New episodes of “Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)” are now available much to the delight of fans across the country.
These new episodes are part of the “Mugen Train Arc,” which follows the same plot line of the “Demon Slayer” movie with a bunch of new scenes, music, and much more for fans to enjoy before season two—the “Entertainment District Arc”—gets released in December.
- STREAM: Crunchyroll; Funimation; Hulu (free trial)
Now, here’s to why you clicked on the article: the streaming. New episodes of the “Mugen Train Arc” premiere each Sunday, with favorite anime streaming platforms such as Funimation and Crunchyroll releasing subbed versions of each.
And wouldn’t you know—Hulu also releases new episodes of “Demon Slayer,” too!
For those of you wondering if watching the “Mugen Train Arc”—or the hit movie that got released over the summer—is necessary before season two comes out, the answer is that it’s pretty much up to you. “Mugen Train” picks up directly where season one leaves off, with Tanjiro, Nezuko (in basket, of course), Inosuke and Zenitsu boarding the titular train to help the Flame Hashira battle a nefarious demon.
This demon, unfortunately, is one of the 12 Kizuki, the most powerful of the powerful demons that have received the blood of the Demon King himself, Muzan Kibutsuji.
In other words, Tanjiro and crew are up for a rough ride, especially given the fact how badly they got beat up the first time they came up against one of the 12 (although let’s not think too much about those spiders, please).
