The Politician's Zoey Deutch has been tapped to star in an Amazon original romantic comedy called Something From Tiffany's, co-produced by Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine.
The film will also be executive produced by Deutch and follows a woman whose life is turned upside down when an engagement ring meant for someone else leads her to the love of her life.
Deutch will reportedly be playing the lead in the film, which is based on a novel by Melissa Hill. It will be the first studio film for Witherspoon's production company, directed by Daryl Wein with a script written by Tamara Chestna.

Deutch has had a long list of acting credits behind her name, including starring in feature films Beautiful Creatures, Vampire Academy, and Before I Fall, all adaptations of novels. She also appeared in romantic comedy Set It Up, from Netflix, and as Madison in Zombieland: Double Tap. She is due to appear next in The Outfit and recently wrapped Not Okay, which she produces and stars in. Deutch has also had recurring roles in the Sarah Michelle Gellar-led Ringer and Ryan Murphy's The Politician.
No one else has been confirmed to be starring in the romantic comedy as of yet, nor has a release date been set by Amazon or Hello Sunshine. Upon its release, the romantic comedy will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries.
Scriptwriter Chestna has previously written the Amy Poehler-directed Moxie as well as the 2019 Harry Styles-inspired teen romance After.

This is not the first collaboration between Amazon and Hello Sunshine, as they are currently producing the musical drama series Daisy Jones & The Six, which stars Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, also an adaptation of a novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
