Who's Playing

Tampa Bay @ Indianapolis

Current Records: Tampa Bay 7-3; Indianapolis 6-5

What to Know

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will square off against the Indianapolis Colts at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. If the game is anything like the Buccaneers' 38-35 victory from their previous meeting in December of 2019, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

Tampa Bay has more to be thankful for after their contest against the New York Giants last week. Tampa Bay enjoyed a cozy 30-10 win over New York. No one had a standout game offensively for Tampa Bay, but they got scores from WR Mike Evans, RB Ronald Jones, and WR Chris Godwin. QB Tom Brady ended up with a passer rating of 131.30.

Special teams collected 12 points for Tampa Bay. K Ryan Succop delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis' offense rose to the challenge against a Buffalo defense that boasted an average of only 15 points allowed. They took their matchup against the Buffalo Bills last week by a conclusive 41-15 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Colts had established a 38-7 advantage. RB Jonathan Taylor had a dynamite game for Indianapolis; he rushed for four TDs and 185 yards on 32 carries in addition to snatching one receiving TD.

Indianapolis' defense was a presence as well, as it collected three interceptions and one fumble. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.

This next game is expected to be close, with Tampa Bay going off at just a 3-point favorite. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last Monday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

Tampa Bay is now 7-3 while the Colts sit at 6-5. Two defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Buccaneers come into the game boasting the fewest rushing yards allowed per game in the league at 78.4. As for Indianapolis, they rank first in the NFL when it comes to rushing touchdowns allowed, with only four on the season. Looks like the running backs might have a tough go of it.
