FirstCapital Bank of Texas named best bank to work for

FirstCapital Bank of Texas is proud to be named one of the Best Banks to Work For in 2021 by the American Banker and Best Companies Group.

According to a news release, the bank has been recognized for the seventh year in a row for its employee volunteerism and programs that develop employees into stronger leaders.

Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a two-step process. The first involves the evaluation of participating companies’ workplace policies, practices, and demographics. Employee surveys are conducted to assess the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking.

“We are very honored to be named one of the Best Banks to Work For, for the seventh year in a row,” said FCB Chief Operating Officer Tracy Bacon. “We highly value our team members and believe in growing from within, which is why we encourage our team to volunteer within our communities and serve with local nonprofits where they’re able to make a difference. Additionally, our internal YOUnique Leadership program identifies emerging leaders within the bank and focuses on developing our employees and the skills they need to advance as leaders within the community and the bank.”
