Box Score STORRS, Conn. – The No. 6 Yale Women's Ice Hockey Team got goals from four different players – all on the power play - and 21 saves from Pia Dukaric in a 4-1 win over Sacred Heart in game three of the 17th annual Nutmeg Classic.
The Bulldogs outshot the Pioneers 64-22, including 26 in the first and 27 in the third, while Claire Dalton, Emma Seitz, Elle Hartje and Tess Dettling found the net. It was Seitz's team-best ninth goal of the year, while Dalton now has eight.
Dukaric and the Yale penalty kill did not allow an SHU tally with the advantage on the way to improving their overall record to 9-3-1. The Elis are next in action on Dec. 8 when Boston University comes to Ingalls Rink.
