Omaha Police said two men are dead and a third was hurt in a shooting near 34th and Jackson Streets Saturday night. An investigation is ongoing Sunday morning as police search for the shooter.
OPD found 21-year-old William Harnage and 18-year-old Jang Puol dead in front of a multiplex apartment, according to a news release. The third victim, 21-year-old Trevel Caldwell, was sent to a hospital. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Officials say they found multiple shell casings at the crime scene.
Lt. Allen Straub says officers took multiple witnesses in for questioning, as authorities locked the building down Saturday night. OPD says the shooter fled south in a white sedan.
The police lieutenant said investigators are looking for surveillance video from the area.
