The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will miss a key component of their offensive line for Week 12. Left tackle Ali Marpet was downgraded from questionable to OUT for Sunday's game against the Colts. Buccaneers staff writer Carmen Vitali tweeted the news Saturday evening.

According to Vitali, Marpet did not travel with the team to Indianapolis. He is out of commission for the Buccaneers due to an abdomen injury. Marpet sustained the injury in their dominating win over the New York Giants last week.
The offensive guard has been a major part of Tampa Bay's offensive line since he was drafted in 2015. Going into this week's matchup against the Colts, Marpet's absence could cause problems for the Buccaneers offensively.
The Colts have an aggressive defense, especially when it comes to the other team's quarterback. In the 11 games they have played this season, this Colts defense has recorded 23 sacks. This could cause a problem for Bucs quarterback Tom Brady. Although he is good at making quick decisions, Brady doesn't typically leave the pocket or attempt a run. He is going to have to work with his offensive line to ensure that he has the time he needs to make accurate and efficient passes.
The Buccaneers are looking to extend their lead in the NFC South with their current 7-3 record. Carson Wentz and the Colts look to stay above .500 and improve their 6-5 record.
