CAPITALS VS. WILD WHAT TO WATCH

From NBC Sports Washington's Ethan Cadeaux:

When Lindgren got back to the locker room, he spoke with goaltenders coach Scott Murray, who told him "you've got 23 guys here that love you." The netminder also thought about his father sitting in the stands, who returned to D.C. following the mentor's trip to watch his son play... Read more

CAPITALS VS. WILD PLAYERS TO WATCH

Capitals: Alex Ovechkin, LW (64 games, 37 goals, 28 assists, 64 points): Ovechkin continues another outstanding statistical season for the Caps, as he's closing in on another 40-goal campaign and chasing down Wayne Gretzky for the all-time lead in career goals. If Ovi can score three more goals, it would be his 13th 40-goal campaign in his career, which would move him into the lead surpassing Wayne Gretzky.

Wild: Kirill Kaprizov, LW (65 games, 39 goals, 35 assists, 74 points): Kaprizov once again continues to be the leader for the Wild, producing on the offensive end as their leader in goals and points. The Wild have scored at least four goals in their last four games, as the Capitals will need to contain their offensive juggernaut in Kaprizov if they want to have a chance to win.
