The weather word of the day today is windy! A storm system will come to Colorado on Monday and first increase our winds throughout the day. So we start out with breezy conditions but then it gets downright windy in the afternoon and evening with gusts anywhere between 40 to 60 mph. Overnight the mountains will get snow and parts of El Paso County will get a rain/snow mix while the Southeastern Plains could see thunderstorms before the morning commute.
