A 4-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after police said she fell out of a second story window in Londonderry.
Police said it happened before 10 a.m. on Saturday at an address on Falcon Road. When paramedics and officers arrived, they found the girl alert and conscious being attended to by her parents but was scared and upset.
She was taken to an area hospital for further diagnostics and testing police said.
Londonderry police said it appears to be an accident and no charges are expected. The family cooperated with investigators.
Police said this serves as a reminder to install child safety locks on windows.
