10 Very Affordable Gifts for Photographers

If you’re plotting a gift for the photographer in your life, check out this list of ideas. I should warn you, some of them are slightly silly, but they are all very affordable and could make for some excellent stocking fillers.

Christopher Frost has put together a selection of gift ideas that won’t put too much of a dent into your wallet, ranging from handy gadgets to a couple of novelty items that are bound to raise a smile. They’re more suited to someone who has recently taken up photography, and you might want to keep in mind that photographers can become very particular about the type of strap that they use. If your photographer is using anything but the strap that came with their camera, it’s best to play it safe and choose something else.

If you’re wary of adding trash to landfills, photobooks are also an excellent choice. If you’re not sure where to start, you can’t go wrong with the classics, such as Robert Frank’s The Americans or Brassai’s For the Love of Paris.

What would you add to this list? Be sure to let us know your suggestions in the comments below.
