Loose Women star Stacey Solomon shows off new hair

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has debuted a new 'do — reminiscent of Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Stacey, 32, posted a picture of her Ariel-esque hair on Instagram to her 4.8 million followers, which garnered many positive reactions from friends and followers.

Lifestyle influencer, Sophie Hinchliffe, known as Mrs Hinch, commented: "Beautiful and Hair like a real life Ariel I'll happily be flounder? xxx ly."

The TV personality captioned her post: "Date Night We had our first night (well late afternoon) out today… I may have had a little moment and decided to dye my hair bright red before we went…."

She continued: "I haven't been out and felt like I've looked human for a long time so I may have gone overboard but lashes didn't feel like enough. You only live once. And I don't want to live it always looking like a foot 99% of the time I don't mind but ever so often it's nice to feel nice.

"PS yes rose came with us on date night. I haven't mastered the art of expressing yet (it's such a skill) and also I don't want to leave her yet but I do want to leave the bedroom."

Teasing the transformation ahead of the reveal, Stacey initially posted a preparation picture to her story featuring a L'Oréal hair dye bottle, explaining why she opted for the dramatic 'do.

She captioned her story post: "So this morning after the good feed (the one where Rose has the best nap) I decided to dye my hair…," with a laughing face emoji and a monkey covering its eyes.

The Loose Women panellist continued: "You know when you feel like you've looked like an actual foot for so long and you just need a change…

"I've been thinking about it for ages and Joe booked a meal for us today so I just thought sod it and went for it… It's a little bright but I think I love it. Plus, I'm sure it'll settle after a few washes."
