Awful DUI Crash With Possible Ejection | San Diego

11.26.2021 | 2:02 AM | SAN DIEGO – San Diego Police along with San Diego Fire-Rescue responded to a vehicle accident on the 6400 block of Montezuma Road. When First Responders arrived, they found that a Jeep SUV had struck a commercial vehicle that was parked along the street. Per scanner traffic, the passenger of the Jeep was possibly ejected from the vehicle at the time of the crash. The female driver did not sustain any injuries. The passenger was transported to the hospital with what appears to be major injuries. The female driver was evaluated for DUI. The female was uncooperative when asked to perform field sobriety tests. The female was ultimately arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. The San Diego Police’s Traffic Division will be handling the investigation.
