Updated odds for Titans-Patriots Week 12 contest

The Tennessee Titans began the week as underdogs to the New England Patriots, and the spread has widened since then.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Titans are 6.5-point underdogs to the Pats, which is one point higher than it was to start the week. The over/under has also changed, going from 44.5 to 43.5.

The spread is the largest of the remaining Week 12 games, while the over/under is tied for the second-lowest.

Tennessee is a perfect 5-0 as the underdog this season. The Titans are 7-4 against the spread and have hit the over in six of 11 contests. The Pats are also 7-4 against the spread but have hit the over in five of 11 games.

The Titans enter this game short-handed as usual.

On top of missing guys like wideout Julio Jones and running back Derrick Henry, both of whom have been on IR, the team is missing five more starters, a list that includes wide receiver A.J. Brown, defensive lineman Teair Tart, linebackers David Long and Rashaan Evans, and right guard Nate Davis.

Despite their injury woes and an inconsistent offense that has made things more difficult, Tennessee has been able to lean on its defense, a unit that ranks fifth against the run and has tallied 27 sacks, the ninth-most in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Pats sport the No. 1 scoring defense that ranks sixth against the pass, ninth against the run, and is top 10 in sacks and turnovers.
