Mother and her partner are accused of killing 8-year-old daughter with autism, dumping the body in wooded area and reporting her missing

Looking over a child with autism seems to be one of the greatest challenges parents can face. Unfortunately, some parents are simply not prepared for the struggle and commitment in their life to cope with all the needs autistic children have.

So was the case with a mother and her partner who are now accused in the death of the 8-year-old girl with autism who was allegedly killed and dumped in a wooded area where authorities found her dead body few days after she was reported missing by her mother.

According to the incident report, the 27-year-old mother of the victim, identified as B. Hall, and her partner were arrested and held in jail believed to be responsible for the death of the 8-year-old Nicole after her dead body was found in a wooded area Tuesday morning.

Hall reported her autistic daughter missing early Sunday morning and she told the local police department that her daughter disappeared from their Georgia home between late Saturday night and 1 a.m. on Sunday. When police initially informed the public for the case, they said that the girl might be in danger knowing her condition, but didn’t provide additional information.

The search lasted for two days until Tuesday morning when authorities found the little Nicole dead around 10:45 a.m. in a wooded area by the Stone Mill Trace neighborhood in DeKalb County. Nicole’s mother was already in custody since early Tuesday morning on other charges when the local police found the little girl.

“Unfortunately, these are not the results we hoped for,” Police Chief J.D. McClure said during a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

According to the warrant documents, Hall was arrested and faces several charges of child cruelty stemming from incidents in July. The mother is accused of physically abusing her three children in an incident caught on video, records show. The warrants say the mother slapped one child several times on the back and face, going as far as punching and kicking a child.

The police are now considering to charge Hall for concealing her daughter’s death.

Police added that Hall’s partner, identified as the 29-year-old C. Owens, was also arrested for multiple charges including six cruelty to children charges. According to the police, Owens is facing murder charges in the death of little Nicole, but didn’t provide additional details what investigators found out so far. Owens was held in jail without bond.

Hall’s neighbors confirmed that she was new in the neighborhood. According to them, Hall moved in a motel and she was staying there for nearly three months. Hall was living in the motel with Nicole and two other siblings until she reported the girl missing last weekend.

Once more details are available, we will update the case. Stay with us!
