Initially, the prolific striker was meant to be out until 2022, but his recovery was completed sooner than expected. His return will be a welcoming sight for Dortmund supporters who have watched their club falter at times in his absence.
The phenom marked his return in typical Erling Haaland fashion, netting a goal just 7 minutes after entering the game.
