After a tough start for the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis ranks last out of 56 players who have attempted at least 150 jump shots this season.

Davis is 51 of 154 on jump shots this season, equaling 33.1% from the field on jump shots. The Lakers star big man has not played to the caliber that the world is used to seeing him in the first quarter of the NBA season.

Many of the Lakers' early struggles are being put on Russell Westbrook, but Anthony Davis needs to start getting some of that blame as well. He has not looked great at all this season and if the Lakers want to make a title run, they're going to need Davis to play some of the best basketball of his career. Anthony Davis used to play like an MVP-caliber big man but he has not done so for the past two seasons.

The Lakers are struggling mightily this season as they are 10-11 and fell below .500 after losing to the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. In 49 minutes, Anthony Davis only had 23 points and was 9-22 from the field and 0-5 from 3-point range. The Lakers' 3-point shooting struggles continued as they shot 15-44 as a team.

It's going to be interesting to see the rest of the Lakers season play out. There is so much talent on that roster. If they want to make a deep run in the playoffs, they're going to need Davis to play much better than he has so far.
