  1. Goodbye for now

    FT: Benetton 19-18 Glasgow

We'll be back later on this afternoon with coverage of Edinburgh's game away to the Dragons - see you then!

  2. 'We should never have been in that position'

    FT: Benetton 19-18 Glasgow

Sam Johnson captained Glasgow for the first time today, and has been speaking to Premier Sports post-match:

"We've got to look ourselves in the mirror, giving away three late penalties like that", he says. "Credit to Benetton, but we should never have been in that position."

  3. Full-time

    Benetton 19-18 Glasgow

Glasgow will be gutted, but they shot themselves in the foot there.

They made too many mistakes and allowed the game to slip away.

  4. Penalty - Benetton 19-18 Glasgow

    Leonardo Marin

The 19-year old was the scourge of Edinburgh earlier this season, and he has just done the same to Glasgow.

Hugely impressive composure to kick that penalty from the same spot he had missed from minutes before.

  5. This to win it

    Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

Glasgow have just conceded a penalty for a high tackle, and the latest unforced error means that Benetton have a line-out inside Glasgow's half.

Another penalty goes Benetton's way, and Leonardo Marin has another kick at goal.

The clock has just ticked into the red...

  6. Post update

    Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

Much better! Substitute Johnny Matthews takes it on himself, and drives forward powerfully, taking Glasgow into Benetton's 22.

The Warriors come up short though, and are penalised just 5m short of the line.

  7. Missed penalty - Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

    Leonardo Marin

Exasperating. Glasgow are pinged for being offside at the scrum, and then Marin misses the penalty.

As the TV commentator has just said, no-one wants to win this game.

  8. Post update

    Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

    My word!

Duncan Weir kicks a goal-line drop out straight into touch with his first act, and Benetton have a 5m scrum.

Ten minutes to go, and Glasgow have to improve, starting at this scrum.

  9. Post update

    Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

Glasgow have seemingly safe possession in the middle of the pitch, but the ball goes to ground, and Benetton are gifted back possession once more.

This has been a really poor second half, strewn with errors.

  10. Penalty - Benetton 16-18 Glasgow

    Leonardo Marin

The gap is closed, and it's been coming.

Edinburgh lost in Treviso having been in front. Glasgow need to improve if they want to avoid the same fate.

  11. Post update

    Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

Glasgow do force a penalty and clear their lines, but they cannot continue to play so much of the game in their own territory if they want to stay in front.

Yet another mistake from the Warriors, this time at the line-out, gifts possession back to Benetton.

Someone needs to seize control of this game for Glasgow, and quickly.

  12. Post update

    Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

That momentum vanishes as quickly as it appeared. First Thompson kicks out on the full and Benetton work their way downfield.

From there, Jack Dempsey is deemed to have deliberately knocked-on, and the referee marches Glasgow back another 10m after the big number eight objects.

  13. Post update

    Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

Brilliant clearing kick from Ross Thompson, who clears halfway from behind his own try-line.

It provides the Warriors with some momentum - they force Benetton to knock-on, and have a platform to attack from.

  14. Post update

    Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

A bit of kick tennis ends with George Horne dropping the ball into the grateful arms of Rhyno Smith. Benetton suddenly find themselves on the front foot, and only a covering Rufus McLean prevents the Italians from scoring in the corner.

The Warriors aren't making their numerical advantage count at the moment.

  15. Post update

    Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

Now it's Glasgow's turn to give away a penalty, and Benetton kick into the Warriors' 22.

However, the Scottish forward pack do brilliantly to win possession back, and win the feed at the scrum.

Huge roars from the men in black and blue!

  16. Penalty - Benetton 13-18 Glasgow

    Ross Thompson

    And he splits the uprights.

  17. Sin-bin - Michele Lamaro

    Benetton 13-15 Glasgow

And that threat is carried out. Again Benetton are penalised at the ruck, and Lamaro is shown a yellow card.

Ross Thompson will kick at goal...

  18. Post update

    Benetton 13-15 Glasgow

Glasgow have started on the front foot in this second half.

Ross Thompson opts to kick into the corner after Benetton infringed at the breakdown.

The hosts have just been given a final warning for being off their feet at the ruck...

  19. Kick-off

    Benetton 13-15 Glasgow

Ross Thompson kicks high into the Italian sky, and we're back underway.

  20. Lack of cohesion

    HT: Benetton 13-15 Glasgow

It's been something of a trend for Glasgow this season - they have played well in spells, but are yet to put together a complete performance.

Danny Wilson has had so many players away with Scotland over the past month or so, and that lack of time together at club level has showed on the pitch - it's all been a bit scrappy.
