Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Chris Charles has promised incoming drama for his character Nate Denby as he faces off with the Deveraux family.
Nate is currently going head-to-head with them as he searches for answers to what happened to his old flame Lisa, who was killed by Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) last year.
Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) and Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) have been covering up the murder but Nate, who is an undercover cop, is starting to suspect them, even though he doesn't have enough proof yet.
But according to Chris, "the storyline ramps up towards Christmas, and everything comes to a head".

"Hollyoaks Christmas is always so full of drama, so to be an integral part of the show's big festive plot is a real honour," the newcomer told Inside Soap.
Earlier this week we saw Nate confront Felix over Lisa's murder after sending a threatening postcard in Lisa's handwriting to the Deveraux family.
Explaining that he has never seen anyone work as hard as them to prove that someone is still alive, he reveals that he knows that Lisa is dead.
While he obviously doesn't know all the details since he believes that Felix committed the murder, he is set on bringing the truth to light and warns them that Felix and Martine Deveraux's (Kéllé Bryan) honeymoon will be the last happy time they will have.

While Channel 4 has not revealed the full line-up of storylines for the Christmas season, from the latest winter trailer we know that both the Lomaxes and Ste face financial struggles as we head into the festive season and that Cindy fears that this Christmas will be Luke's last.
Meanwhile, the McQueens are facing a new setback as they risk being homeless over the holidays.
Hollyoaks airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
