With the New York Giants Week 12 matchup being against the Philadelphia Eagles, we catch a glimpse at what should be a spectacular NFC East showdown. New York is getting desperate for a win while Philadelphia has been red hot recently. We take a look at this Giants-Eagles game with some of our Giants Week 12 predictions in mind.

New York's defense hasn't been terrible, but it hasn't been great either. They'll have to be at their best against the Eagles though, as Jalen Hurts has been on fire. Look for the Giants to draw up a game plan to slow down Philadelphia on Sunday.

The offense has to find a way to get going. Kenny Golladay has been a mess this year but could be in line for a bounce-back performance. Additionally, Saquon Barkley looks to have a big game as well, as he's the best player in New York. Lastly, Daniel Jones will do everything he can to help his team get the win. With that said, here are four bold Giants Week 12 predictions for their game against the Eagles.

Giants Week 12 Predictions

4. Giants defense slows down the Eagles' passing attack

The Eagles rushing attack has been stellar of late and will likely be featured in this game. New York has to find a way to slow it down, but that is much easier said than done. For that reason, the Giants should focus on stopping the pass and taking away Hurts' ability to find the open man. That should allow New York to potentially create some turnovers to gain the advantage on their opponent.

3. Kenny Golladay finally has a solid performance in New York

It's been an ugly season for Kenny Golladay. We've seen him struggle to stay healthy and for whatever reason, he hasn't lived up to the massive contract the Giants signed him to. As of right now, Golladay appears to be a waste of money, but he has time to salvage his season and his tenure with New York.

With Sterling Shephard ruled out and Kadarius Toney listed as doubtful, Kenny Golladay will be the top target available. The coaching staff should draw up some plays for him and allow Golladay to prove himself. He has to be utilized more often, especially considering how much the franchise is paying him.

2. Saquon Barkley erupts for 125+ rushing yards and 2 touchdowns

Saquon Barkley has been battling injuries the last couple of years now, but he seems more confident than ever. He wasn't able to get much going in Week 11, but he has a chance to perform well against the Eagles. The Giants need their superstar running back at his best if they hope to defeat Philadelphia on Sunday.

1. Daniel Jones finds a way to lead the Giants to victory

The ruling is up in the air on if Daniel Jones is the answer for the Giants or not. The front office hasn't done much to help him out while the coaching staff has displayed putrid playcalling. Simultaneously, Jones is still making the same mistakes he's been making since his rookie year.

It's time for Jones to prove himself as the Giants franchise quarterback. A win over the Eagles will be a nice start. If New York can string together some wins in the final stretch of the season, the franchise should have a better understanding of what to do with their quarterback.
