Woman killed in fiery Saturday morning accident identified

The woman killed in a fiery single vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Gracey-Herndon Road has been identified.

Christian County Deputy Coroner Christy Adams identified the victim as 31-year old Lindsay Anderson Majors of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

As previously reported, the accident happened in the 3600 block just after midnight and Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Hoffman said the automobile had been traveling north when it left the road, hit a ditch and flipped at least twice before coming to rest and bursting into flames.

Attempts by deputies to free Majors from the automobile were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
