Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Michael Bailey will be horrified by revelations about his ex Grace Vickers in upcoming scenes, as he discovers that she doesn't want to look after their baby daughter, Glory, anymore.

Since Michael (Ryan Russell) and Grace (Kate Spencer) split for good earlier this year following Glory's birth, they have been co-parenting their daughter, but what Michael doesn't know is that Grace has been blackmailing his parents, Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) and Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw), into giving her a new house and furniture.

Next week, after Aggie gets fed up with Grace manipulating them and constantly leaving Glory with them, she refuses to babysit and Grace leaves Glory home alone instead. When Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) tells horrified Aggie what Grace has done, Grace admits to her that she never wanted a baby and drops a sudden proposition.

After they hear Grace's shock proposal, Ed and Aggie break the news to Michael that Grace doesn't want their daughter.

Reeling at the news, Michael catches up with Grace at the tram station and implores her not to walk out on their baby. But will he be able to change Grace's mind before she leaves?

Later in the week, Michael hears from Bernie that Grace left Glory home alone while visiting the Christmas market, and Bernie reveals that she has already told Aggie about it.

Appalled, Michael confronts his mum, demanding to know why she kept this fact about Grace a secret from him. He suspects that Aggie might have used the information against Grace and forced her to sign a document about Glory's future against her will, in an attempt to gain more access to her granddaughter.

Will Ed and Aggie come clean to Michael about all of the blackmail that they have faced at Grace's hands, or will they choose to protect Grace?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 8 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
