The Grant Christmas Parade will be on Saturday. December 4, at 1:00 p.m. There is no entry free. Please contact the Grant Town Hall at (256) 728-2007 for more information and to be added to the lineup. The Grand Marshal will be Mr. Anthony Campbell from the Guntersville Advertiser-Gleam.
Dove Creek Farms in the Swearengin Community will be hosting their 4th Annual “Christmas At The Barn 2021” event on Saturday, December 4, from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Mr. Grinch will be there from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will also be there from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. There will be various vendors and food trucks set up. The address is 169 Horseshoe Bend, Scottsboro, AL 35769. The phone number is (256) 470-1616.
The Grant Library is open for customers. Face covering is required for admittance to the library. The library offers curbside services to anyone who is unable to wear a mask.
The library is closed November 25-29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday
The Library Hours are as follows; Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – noon, Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – moon, and Sunday & Monday the library is closed. Also 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. each day is reserved for elderly/immunocompromised patrons ONLY.
