The weather word of the day today is windy! A storm system will come to Colorado on Monday and first increase our winds throughout the day. So we start out with breezy conditions but then it gets downright windy in the afternoon and evening with gusts anywhere between 40 to 60 mph. Overnight the mountains will get snow and parts of El Paso County will get a rain/snow mix while the Southeastern Plains could see thunderstorms before the morning commute. FOX21 Storm Team latest forecast - Saturday April 13th. Warm and windy weather will be the main theme for the next few days. Unsettled weather will move in late Monday night and on into Tuesday morning bringing a slight chance for precipitation.
