Eakin produced both of his points during the second period, giving the Sabres a 2-1 lead with his goal midway through the frame before setting up Kyle Okposo's short-handed tally six minutes later. The effort snapped a seven-game pointless streak for the 30-year-old Eakin, who has two goals and three points in 14 contests on the year.
