Florida is going blue-on-blue for Saturday’s rivalry clash with Florida State.

The Gators will wear the blue pants with the home blue jerseys, the team’s official Twitter account revealed Friday. UF is sticking with the traditional orange helmets instead of the alternate blue or white lids.

Bowl eligibility is on the line for the Gators and Seminoles. Dan Mullen was fired after Florida fell to 5-6 with a Week 12 loss at Missouri. Running backs coach and special teams coordinator Greg Knox has been named UF’s interim coach. Mike Norvell’s Noles started 0-4, but have turned things around and are now 5-6 on the year.

Florida has a 2-game winning streak in the rivalry. The teams last met in 2019, a 40-17 win for Florida in The Swamp. Saturday’s game is set for noon ET, airing on ESPN.
