One of the biggest differences between the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna is their price ranges. For the 2021 models, the Odyssey came in significantly cheaper with a range between $37,375 and $52,550 depending on the model. Compared to the Toyota Sienna’s price range starting at $42,675 and ending at $57,475, drivers can save a lot by choosing the Odyssey.
Another big difference is fuel economy and emissions. Consumer Reports rated the Sienna at a five out of five for fuel economy, while the Odyssey only earned a three. On top of that, the Odyssey has an overall mileage of 22 mpg and city mileage of 14 mpg. Compared to the Sienna’s overall mileage of 36 mpg and city mileage of 28 mpg, it’s a no brainer you’re getting more with the Sienna.
It’s also important to keep in mind that the annual fuel costs for the Odyssey are more expensive—$1,320 compared to the Sienna’s annual fuel cost of $800. So, you will need to spend more on gas with the Odyssey. But, the Sienna has a green choice while the Odyssey does not.
