The Class 3A, No.2-ranked Fairfield girls basketball team started its 2021-22 campaign with a 60-54 overtime road win over Class 4A, No.6-ranked Sunnyvale. “I am proud of how the girls fought to win the game,” Coach Sally Whitaker said. “We made a lot of mistakes and missed some shots we normally don’t miss. That is normal for the first game of the season. I think it was a great start.” …
