EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Sharon Watts will be left devastated next week, when Jada flees with her baby daughter Alyssa.
Last night's episode (November 26) saw Sharon make the big decision to apply for full custody of her granddaughter, after believing that Jada couldn't be trusted.
Having been urged by both Phil and Martin to tread carefully with Jada, Sharon (Letitia Dean) started to suspect that the teenager was only interested in her money following a conversation about their future living arrangements.
Phil has also not been shy about addressing his suspicions over Jada's true intentions, reminding Sharon that she has no legal rights to Alyssa currently.
As Sharon eyes up Ruby's house next week, Zack can't help but wonder if she's jumping the gun with all this and implores her to give Jada another chance.
Taking Zack's advice, Sharon meets Jada and gives her some money to treat herself.
Still not believing that Jada has an ulterior motive here, Zack tries to reason with Sharon but her stance is firm.
As Jada returns, Zack slips up and makes a comment that leaves her worried.
Later, Jada looks over the paperwork and agrees to everything, prompting Sharon to wonder if she has got her all wrong after all.
Unfortunately, the damage has already been done, and as Sharon cooks dinner, Jada takes Alyssa and disappears.
With Alyssa now nowhere to be seen, Zack is mortified as he realises it's his fault due to his earlier comment.
A devastated Sharon works on finding Jada, while Zack secretly tries to fix his mistake.
When Martin questions a guilty Zack about Jada's runner, he is quick to deflect, but will they be able to find Alyssa? Or has Sharon lost her for good?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, November 29 and Tuesday, November 30 on BBC One.
