Kathe Bluemel of Arnold said her cat, Shadow, definitely has a favorite person in the family.
“My son, Anthony, is 18 now, but when we got her he was 6 years old. He’d come home from school and he’d pet her. He’d just be with her,” Bluemel said. “She doesn’t like anybody else.”
Bluemel said Shadow is about 12.
“She’s very reserved and very selective of who she likes to be with,” Bluemel said. “She doesn’t act like a cat. She learned not to jump on things (through training). The only place she jumps is on Anthony’s bed.”
Bluemel said Shadow has a bit of a weight problem.
“She’s really, really fat,” Bluemel said. “When she walks, she jiggles”
