The lamb has quite a kick to it. It’s a tender and well-cooked, hearty kebab.

The chicken is tender and flavorful, covered in spices. The carrot-chickpea salad is fresh. It’s served quite cold, but it didn’t hinder the meat.

Both options are great.

*NEW* Almond-spiced Cake with Ginger Mousse, Orange Ganache and Sesame Tuille – $4.75

This is a nice, light cake with subtle orange flavor, well complemented by the chocolate piece. The ginger mousse is even more subtle, despite being the largest ingredient.

*NEW* Stem Ciders Lavender Apple Hard Cider, Denver, CO (5.8% ABV) – $5.00

Stem Ciders describes their Lavender Apple Hard Cider as being “infused with dried lavender” while having “floral, cinnamon and cardamom spice notes,” a “bright” color, and an “off-dry” finish.

*NEW* Woodchuck Cinnamon Nutmeg Hard Cider, Middlebury, VT (5.0% ABV) – $5.00

From correspondence with Woodchuck Cidery, the Cinnamon Nutmeg Hard Cider, also known as Spiced Apple Hard Cider, is “a balanced cider with notes of apple and bright cinnamon and a nutmeg finish.”

*NEW* Bold Rock Ginger Turmeric Hard Cider, Nellysford, VA (4.7% ABV) – $5.00

From Bold Rock Hard Cider: “Ginger Turmeric is an herbal tea-inspired cider made with locally grown Blue Ridge Mountain apples paired with the distinctive spice of ginger root and aromatic earthiness of turmeric.”

Fig Cocktail with Sparkling Wine, Fig Vodka, and Cranberry Juice – $11.00

There’s probably not a lot of alcohol in this one, but it was well-balanced. It’s not syrupy like other festival drinks, which was nice. It’s quite refreshing and takes a pretty picture for the budding food photographers out there. We highly recommend this one.
