Data Privacy Platform Panther Protocol Raises Over $22M In Public Sale

Panther Protocol, a data concealing, and privacy-enhancing platform has announced the close of its public sale. It managed to raise $22 million during the public sale. According to information on its website, the sale was carried out in a record time of 90 minutes. The platform has now requested the general public to await notification on when the Token Generation Event will take place.

Speaking after the close of the Public sale, the CEO and co-founder of Panther protocol, Oliver Gale, had this to say:

“We are delighted at the speed with which the public sale has been carried out. This confirms our belief that indeed the world is ripe for a future where your personal information should not be shared with other parties without your consent. At Panther, we strongly believe that your data should remain private, and blockchain tech has enabled us to create solutions that affirm this belief. We are grateful for the remarkable reception that our project has been given.”

Another co-founder of Panther, Anish Mohammed, said:

“Panther has enabled us to use blockchain technology and take data privacy back to the hands of their rightful owners. This is where it ought to have been. We appreciate the overwhelming support we have received from the public.”

Panther uses blockchain technology to conceal users’ private data in the Defi ecosystem. When a user sends their data on the Panther platform, it acts as a vault that is encrypted and cannot reveal details about an individual unless they consent.

The platform works efficiently on multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Flare, Songbird, Near, and Polygon. This infrastructure also allows builders to build privacy apps on their platforms in a simple manner without the need to hire specialized cryptographers and programmers.

Panther Protocol uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable users to prove compliance without necessarily revealing the underlying data that has been concealed in the panther vaults. This is made possible through the use zkSNARKs technology – a tech innovation that ensures that no one can access your data without your consent.
