Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Nina Lucas has made a big decision after Kelly Neelan became the victim of a vicious attack while under the influence of drugs.
Kelly (Millie Gibson) has been sleeping rough since her release from prison meant Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) could not keep her with them anymore.
In tonight's (November 26) double-bill episode, Kelly is approached again by a drug dealer who offers her a free sample, but Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) sends him packing – not before he gives Kelly his phone number. Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) then appears and orders Jacob to leave.
Stu tries to help Kelly by asking Nina (Mollie Gallagher) to give her a break, but Nina is not ready to forgive Kelly and help her.
After bringing Kelly a warm cup of tea, Stu heads off to try and find the girl a bed for the night. But as soon as he leaves, Kelly phones the drug dealer to enquire about those freebies.
When Stu next comes to see the girl, she is lying on the floor almost unconscious. He rushes off to find some help but Kelly stands up and walks in the other direction and stumbles upon a group of drunken teenagers, who first tease her when she begs them for change and then follow her.

As they catch up with Kelly, the teenagers keep mocking her and ultimately pour a can of beer over her head. Nina is watching on, remembering how she and Seb were attacked in a similar way. She then manages to overcome her emotions and take action, telling the bullies to leave Kelly alone.
After calling Nina names, the teenagers ultimately leave, which leaves the girls able to take a sigh of relief and cry together as Kelly apologises to Nina.
The two quickly start talking and open up to each other. Kelly still feels extremely guilty and asks Nina to please not be nice to her. "After Seb, I actually wanted to kill you," says Nina. But after reflecting on what happened, Nina offers to help Kelly, which leaves Kelly emotional as she sees that people can start to forgive her.

Nina takes Kelly round to No 7, where Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) assures her she's welcome to stay. Kelly tries to make herself at home, but as soon as she leaves the room Asha (Tanisha Gorey) questions whether Nina is sure about helping Kelly.
Nina confirms that it's the right thing and the two agree to meet up later at the café. But when Nina finds herself alone in the empty café she grows increasingly anxious when Asha doesn't show.
Asha eventually arrives but Nina tries to mask her anxiety and just how taxing the day has been for her.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
