Once upon a time, November and December weren’t just beloved for the holidays within them but for much-anticipated Virgin River premieres, too. Now, however, following an early release of Virgin River Season 3 in July 2021, fans are feeling a bit hollow as news of the next season remains in the distant future.

While What’s on Netflix reported that filming for Season 4 began in July 2021, there’s still no word on exactly when the new season is set to debut. Going off last year’s early release and how long it typically takes to film a new season, however, it’s safe to assume that the fourth season will debut sometime between April and July.

Thankfully, even without a hard date to look forward to, the show’s Instagram account is keeping us appraised with behind-the-scenes shots from filming throughout the years to keep us occupied in the meantime.

“BTS with ‘the guys’,” they captioned a gallery of photos, which showed stills of Jack (Martin Henderson), Preacher (Colin Lawrence), Doc (Tim Matheson), Ricky (Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey), Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth), and other characters from the show.

“Love all of the Virgin River men! Such a good-looking group of guys,” one fan exclaimed. “When is season 4 hitting Netflix? I’m getting antsy and would love to find out who the father of mels baby is,” another fan quipped.

Speaking of Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), the Virgin River Instagram account posted a throwback gallery of her and Jack, and suffice to say, fans want them to end up together.

“Miss them all! But not Mark. Just never warmed up to Mark, at all…. I guess it’s a Jack thing,” one fan wrote. “Mel and Jack! My favorites! They’re soulmates,” another fan chimed in in the comments section.

Meanwhile, another fan commented exactly what we’re thinking: “Fourth season, hurry up!”

Our thoughts exactly.
