Adrian, MI – The Adrian Symphony Orchestra celebrates the holiday season with a performance of Handel’s Messiah with Conductor Bruce Kiesling, orchestra, soloists, and choirs.

The concert will take place on Saturday, December 11th, at 8 PM in Dawson Auditorium on the Adrian College Campus. The ASO, Adrian College Choir, and Lenawee Community Chorus will fill the stage with over 100 musicians to perform part one… the Christmas portion.

Some of the well-known titles that will fill the auditorium with sacred sounds are And the glory of the Lord, For unto us a Child is Born, and the timeless and revered Hallelujah Chorus.

With an emphasis on making music accessible to the community, each classical concert is preceded by a ‘Virtual Classical Conversation’ with Music Director Bruce Kiesling, where he will share the stories behind the music to be performed.
