To a few lucky dogs across the U.S., the “most wonderful time of the year” is Thanksgiving. The victors of many spoils—unwanted turkey, accidentally dropped turkey, purposefully dropped turkey, “hey, that human isn’t looking so…snagged turkey,” and whipped cream galore.

And to top it all off—beyond the tiny humans providing more turkey—they get to go for a run with some other lucky dogs, a tradition known as the Turkey Trot.
