2D Vocal Platformer One Hand Clapping Has Been Announced For Mobile

One Hand Clapping is an adventure puzzle game developed by Handy Games. Originally, the game began as a demo for the University of Southern California but has been carried through to be released on Steam, Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and now iOS and Android. The announcement was made on the developer’s social media pages. Along with the announcement of the official release date for December 14th, it was also revealed that a mobile version would be available for iOS and Android devices.

One Hand Clapping challenges players to solve complex puzzlers using the sound of their voice as a gameplay mechanism. Singing and humming and even pitch matching will all be necessary to reach the next puzzle and explore new aspects of this beautiful and imaginative world. Don’t worry though. You don’t need to be a professional singer in order to participate. The goal of the game is to encourage players to become more confident in their own voice and embrace all of its imperfections as what makes each person unique. You may even learn something new about yourself and become more comfortable singing in front of others. If this sounds too nerve-racking, you can always play with all the doors locked and windows shut. A beautiful color palette of blues, greens, purples, and pinks as well as serene, bubbly music are used to create a calming and uplifting experience for players. Each player also has a sort of spirit guide to help them along. For a better understanding of the gameplay and art style, check out the trailer below.

So far, this vocal 2D platformer has been released for early access on Steam and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from players. If you can’t wait for the mobile version on December 14th, you can try it out on Steam for $11.99 USD. Although the mobile price has not yet been announced, it will more than likely be much cheaper.
