EastEnders spoilers follow.

Mila Marwa is set to find out her mum Nyangi's fate next week on EastEnders, but first, she has to take a stand and protect her little sister Kioni from those who object to their presence at The Albert.

As Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is setting up for the mosque fundraiser event in the pub, Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) and Mila (Ruthxjiah Bellenea) are waiting for the news
about Mila's mum sentencing in the soap's FMG storyline.

Waseem Qureshi (Faraz M Khan) stops by and is shocked to find they're using The Albert for the event. Iqra is annoyed and asks Waseem to leave but Mila steps in to stop the two from arguing.

Waseem, however, makes his views clear. But a clueless comment from him upsets Kioni and, this time, it's Mila that kicks him out as Iqra joins forces to protect her friend's little sister.

Will Kioni get over Waseem's comment? And what will happen with Nyangi and the two girls?

Waseem is not the only one bothered by the fundraiser though as Aaron, who has already shown glimpses of his shocking beliefs, rants about the "woke brigade" cancelling the nativity while the mosque is allowed to run the event.

When Keegan hears this, he scolds Tiffany for listening to Aaron's rubbish. Undeterred, Tiff later shares a petition on social media and things go downhill from there.

The last time we saw Nyangi (Lucy Vandi) she was being arrested and charged in relation to her daughter's FGM in a storyline that aired earlier this summer. Back then, Mila tried to convince her mum to give up the practice when it became time for her younger sister Kioni to undergo the procedure.

As she saw her mum being taken away in a police car, Mila first thought it was Iqra who called the police on Nyangi, but she quickly discovered it had been Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
