The Pelicans will travel to Utah tonight for their annual tradition of back-to-back games against the Jazz in November.

The Pelicans (4-16) are coming off a win over the Wizards in which they played their best game of the season. Willie Green hopefully found something in the starting lineup of Devonte’ Graham, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Herb Jones and Jonas Valanciunas and the Pelicans will continue to try and revive their season behind this group.

The Utah Jazz are 12-6 and once again look like one of the best teams in the Western Conference behind stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, as well as super sixth man Jordan Clarkson.

The Pelicans and Jazz have played some super competitive and fun games in the past and if the Pels could steal one of these in Utah it might add a little momentum to their season that has stalled without Zion Williamson.

Speaking of Zion, there is still no timetable for his return, though he apparently had scans two days ago, the results of which still haven’t been announced.

Here are the odds, some predictions and your best fantasy bets for New Orleans vs. Utah.

Pelicans vs. Jazz: Odds, spread and over/under

According to WynnBET, the Pelicans are 12 point underdogs on the road vs. Utah. These two teams have played some close games even though Utah has gotten the best of them, so I expect another tight one tonight and think this spread is a bit too high.

The money lines are set at +490 for the Pels and -675 for the Jazz. The Pelicans have had a hard time winning in Utah, so these odds make sense. If I were going to bet this, I’d take the points, as the Pels have been playing hard lately and hopefully won’t get blown out on the road.

The over/under is 214.5 and could go either way. The Jazz are a good defensive team and the Pelicans have largely struggled offensively this season, but with these two teams you never know, as they have played some high-scoring games in the past. I would probably take the under if I had to, relying on the Thanksgiving hangover and late start time to slow these two teams down.

Predictions and daily fantasy tips

Brandon Ingram has had some of the best games of his career against Utah and is coming off a big game against the Wizards, so he is your best fantasy bet here.

This is one game where I might stay away from Jonas Valanciunas, even though he is putting up monster numbers overall. Rudy Gobert is a tough matchup for anyone and should limit JV’s rebounding numbers.

I would continue to ride the hot hand of Josh Hart, who has been one of the best low-cost fantasy plays this season. Hart is now averaging 12 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists on the season on good shooting splits and has been very good of late.

Hart is not launching as many 3-pointers, which has made him more efficient and has scored in double-digits in five of the last six games.

Pelicans vs. Jazz: How to watch

This one has a late start time of 8:00 PM CT and you can watch it on Bally Sports New Orleans. You can also catch the radio broadcast at ESPN 100.3 if you are on the road for the holidays.
